A former Shinto shrine in this small mountain town. It was located in what is now Jiaxian Park (甲仙公園). The shrine was dismantled in the late 1970s and replaced by a monument to anti-Japanese martyrs (甲仙埔抗日志士紀念碑), specifically an uprising in 1915 (甲仙埔事件). Jiaxian was likely Kosen in Japanese.
