A Shinto shrine established in Mailiao, Yunlin, in October 1936. The shrine faced south on what is now an empty lot along Zhongshan Road Lane 200 (中山路200巷), diagonally behind Gongfan Temple (拱範宮). A Japanese-style mikoshi (神輿) reportedly donated by a Japanese policeman during the colonial era survives at Gongfan Temple. It enshrined a tablet inscribed with the name of Amaterasu (天照大神) and was paraded through the streets during annual autumn festivals. The shrine displaced a preexisting Dazhong Temple (大眾廟), which later relocated to Zhongshan Road. Known as Bakuryō-jinja in the original Japanese.
