A mock town (假城鎮) built by the army for urban warfare (城鎮戰) training in Gaoyuan Village (高原里), Longtan, Taoyuan, in use since at least the 1970s. The site amounts to a single crossroads ringed by eight or nine buildings, with an open plaza centered on what may once have been a statue. It sees only intermittent military use, and the derelict appearance of the site has attracted airsoft players and urban explorers. Even so, the military periodically reminds the public that entry is prohibited.
