Keelung Zhongxing Theater

Golden age theater located near the bridge to Heping Island on the north side of Keelung. Demolished and replaced by a commercial building. Also referred to as Zhongzheng Theater (中正戲院), but this does not appear to have been a formal name for this business. Although speculative, this theater might be one and the same with Rizao Theater (日造戲院), reputedly built by the Taiwan Shipbuilding Company (臺灣造船公司) on the same street not far from the university campus. This theater was rented out by the university for events until its own auditorium was completed.
