A set of Japanese colonial era dormitories constructed for faculty of the nearby fisheries training institute around 1938. They continued to serve their original function after the war, even as the name of the institute was changed. Only in 2004 were they cleared out and designated as historic buildings. Restoration work has been slow and the original structures are in bad condition nowadays.
