Taroko Forest Farm (太魯閣林場) also featured an extensive facility next to the timber storage yard at Tianpu (田浦). Apart from an office (辦公室), warehouse, and a lumber mill there were numerous staff dormitories for lumber workers constructed here. Many of these facilities remain intact, although not listed for their heritage value in 2026. Some old dormitories have been converted into restaurants and other businesses while the office is still in use by the forest bureau police detachment.
