A branch shrine or massha (末社) of the main Karenko Shrine in Sakol, a majority Indigenous area. It was allegedly established in the early 1930s, or perhaps it was still under construction expansion around 1942. The entire area was extensively flooded in 1945, damaging the site, which never seems to have fully opened. In the post-war era some stone lanterns and other relics were preserved, but with the construction of several sports and athletics facilities on this plot of land, whatever remained disappeared into history.
