Hsinchu Zhongzhengtai (新竹中正台) - Spectral Codex

A rare example of a post-war stage built for outdoor performances in central Hsinchu. Completed in 1957, it regularly hosted traditional opera performances and concerts as well as special events and even funerals. In the 1970s the forecourt was frequented by street vendors who eventually organized the shopping district that now fills the open space in front of the stage.
