A former Shinto shrine (和美金刀比羅社) established in October 1916 and located in the vicinity of Changhua Sugar Factory (彰化製糖所). It was a subsidiary shrine of the main Changhua Shinto Shrine (彰化神社). Some sources indicate a date of establishment in 1940, which may indicate the shrine was rebuilt or upgraded at some point. It was likely dismantled in the decades after the war with only the komainu spared. They are now on display at Hemei Demei Park (德美公園). The precise location of the shrine is subject to some debate, but it seems plausible that it was between the factory and the dormitory area to the north. The location has been chosen based on an inspection of an aerial survey from 1947.
