Saigon Dai Dong Theater (Rạp Đại Đồng Sài Gòn) - Spectral Codex
Rạp Đại Đồng Sài Gòn

Established at 130 Cao Thắng Street in the former District 3 by a family fleeing Hanoi in 1955. After 1975 it was managed by the state. It faded into obscurity as modern cinema chains emerged across the city but the state converted it into a playhouse with a new façade at some point. This façade must have been stripped off at some point as the theater’s appearance in the late 2010s doesn’t resemble how it looked in 2010. According to media reports descendants of the family still live in the building.
