A cypress-panelled guesthouse just outside Chilan Hotel (力麗馬告生態園區棲蘭山莊), originally a facility built for the forestry nursery. Chiang Kai-shek stayed here in 1963, arriving by sedan chair, and the building was renovated the following year. He returned in 1965 and 1967, after which it was renamed in his honor. The guesthouse features separate bedrooms for CKS and Soong Mei-ling, who kept different hours, and a private kitchen. It now operates as a small museum.
