Established in 1918, this was originally the Shinto shrine for the lumberjack settlement prior to developing the later site on Taipingshan. The site was effectively abandoned when the settlement moved northeast of here around 1937, but several relics remain, and have become a popular destination for multi-day hikes. Numerous traces of the surrounding settlement can also be found in this area. Also known as Jialuoshan Shinto Shrine (加羅山神社) in some Chinese language sources.
