The third tunnel on the Luodong Forest Railway Line (羅東森林鐵道) is still faintly visible along the mountainside in a bend in the Lanyang River (蘭陽溪). The eastern entrance isn’t readily accessible even from the riverbed but if you manage to get close you might be able to make out anti-communist slogans painted near the entrance sometime in the post-war period. The western entrance might be accessible from a rough trail leading up from the riverside but the interior looks quite dangerous.
