Established in 1972 by Chen Zhaobing (陳釗炳), this was the first major amusement park in Taiwan. It was so popular that it kicked off a wave of amusement park construction all around the country. Due to outdated equipment, stiff competition, and government plans for infrastructure development the park went out of business in 1992. The swimming pool continued to operate for a period of time but the entire site was demolished in the late 1990s and eventually converted into Banqiao Music Park (板橋音樂公園).
