Thonburi Rama (ธนบุรีรามา) - Spectral Codex
ธนบุรีรามา

Thonburi Rama was one of the last running standalone theaters in metropolitan Bangkok. It was established in 1972 and closed in 2013 after a long decline. Phantom of Illumination (2017), a documentary film covering the aftermath of its closure, was shot here. For a few short years it was a special events space but the interior was eventually stripped and it has since been repurposed for use as a parking garage. Nowadays there is also a café out front.

The exterior of this old theater on the outskirts of Bangkok is still in decent condition.
