A water-themed amusement park known in English as Woozland, opened in 1988 by a Taiwanese-Japanese joint venture as southern Taiwan’s first major water park. It was located next to Orthodox Lu’ermen Shengmu Temple in Annan, on the north side of urban Tainan. It closed in 2002 after being squeezed out by newer competitors and briefly became one of the more popular sites on the early Taiwan urban exploration circuit before being demolished in 2009. Part of the original grounds reopened in 2024 as Miaohui Park (廟徽公園), an inclusive children’s playground.
