A Buddhist temple established in 1977 in the hills above Ziqiang Tunnel (自強隧道) in Zhongshan District, Taipei. Although primarily venerating Guanyin (觀音), the temple is more often visited for another attraction entirely. Behind the main hall are ten stone idols from the Taipei Shikoku 88 Pilgrimage (台北四國八十八所靈場), a circuit of stone buddhas established in 1923 and originally placed along roads between Shilin and Yangmingshan. These idols were relocated here in the post-war era and include numbers 19, 22, 28, 34, 36, 37, 38, plus a pair depicting Kōbō Daishi (弘法大師) and one of Mañjuśrī (文殊菩薩).
