One of only a handful of ritual paper incinerators in and around the Taipei Basin is located on a hillside at the back of the Waishuangxi Campus (外雙溪校區) of Soochow University. It was constructed in 1961, unusually late for a traditional structure of its kind. Guests may need to request permission to visit the site at the front gate.
