Ruins of a Japanese colonial era police garrison (駐在所) at 400 meters elevation along the Hehuan Cross-Ridge Historic Trail in Taroko Gorge. Established after the 1914 Truku War, this outpost served as a key waypoint between Fushi (富世) and Tabido (天祥), housing 30 police officers who administered two nearby Truku communities. In addition to police functions the garrison included a trading post, clinic, and educational facility for Indigenous children. The site later expanded with lodging and club facilities in anticipation of the planned Tsugitaka-Taroko National Park.
