德興煤礦
Dexing Coal Mine (德興煤礦)

A former coal mine turned into a minor attraction at a trailhead leading into the hills south of Taipei 101. It was mainly mined in the Japanese colonial era, closing around 1948. The entrance is open during daytime hours and you can walk into the entrance of the mine to appreciate the ambiance. Not hugely interesting and there aren’t many mining relics around but it makes for a pleasant hike.
