A historic Mazu temple established in the heart of Xiluo, Yunlin, in 1717. The idol enshrined here is known as the Xiluo Mazu Taiping Mother (西螺媽祖太平媽). It underwent a major reconstruction in 1962 but still retains many historic relics. This temple is the origin of the Luoyang Welcomes Peace (螺陽迎太平) festival, a pilgrimage route tracing both sides of the Zhoushui River during the autumn harvest season.
