Established in 1902, this was among the earliest and certainly the most famous of the Inari shrines in colonial Taiwan. The deity was initially housed temporarily at Longshan Temple (艋舺龍山寺) before the shrine was formally established at its own site that year. It stood in what is now the middle of the road near Huanhe South Road Sec. 2, Lane 35 (環河南路二段35巷). The shrine was demolished during or after the war and no relics are known to exist.
