Completed in 1930, this traditional farmhouse in a village on the south side of Shuili has been well-maintained over nearly a century. It was damaged in the 921 Earthquake but carefully repaired, retaining the original appearance. Subsequent earthquakes have damaged it further and as of 2026 it is in worsening structural condition. It is also referred to as Niuwenlu Lai Residence (牛轀轆賴宅).
