Established in 1956, this temple venerates the spirit of an unmarried maiden renowned for her supernatural powers. It was a popular site of pilgrimage in 1959 but the original temple was completely destroyed in the catastrophic August 7th Flood (八七水災) of 1959. It was later rebuilt after some controversy involving the Taichung Garrison Command. Also known as Zhang Yugu Temple (張玉姑廟).
