A monument erected in 1917 by the mine operators and residents of Jiufen, Ruifang, to honour the Keelung industrialist Yen Yun-nien (顏雲年, 1874–1923), whose tiered subleasing of the Fujita-gumi (藤田組) gold concession curbed theft and raised output. The four-sided andesite pyramid bears an inscription recounting his partnership with the Japanese firm, a classical poem, and the names of its sponsors. It is one of five sites registered in 2003 as the Taiyang Company Ruifang Office Historic Building Complex (臺陽公司瑞芳辦事處歷史建築群), alongside the Taiyang Mining Company Office and the Jiufen Miners’ Monument.
