An andesite stele erected in the winter of 1934 in Public Cemetery No. 19 in Jiufen, Ruifang. It was commissioned by Yan Guonian (顏國年), president of the Taiyang Mining Company (臺陽鑛業株式會社), and Weng Shanying (翁山英), head of the Ruifang Mining Office, to commemorate the many miners who had died on the job since the 1880s. The inscription was composed by the Keelung scholar Li Shijing (李石鯨), brushed by Wu Ruyu (吳如玉), and carved by Jiang Wenfeng (蔣文峯). It is one of five sites recognized for its heritage value as part of the Taiyang Company Ruifang Office Historic Building Complex (臺陽公司瑞芳辦事處歷史建築群).
