Established around 1935 by local coal mining baron Zhou Diyuan (周垤源), this was likely a venue for traditional performance with occasional film screenings. The theater stood at the foot of Nuannuan Old Street (暖暖老街), just beyond the level crossing next to the riverbank. No post-war records have been found and the building no longer exists. Previously known as Dandan-za (暖暖座) and Dandan-gekijō (暖暖劇場) in Japanese.
