Originally the site of the Miaoli branch of the Hsinchu Glass Company (新竹玻璃製造廠). The factory was abandoned long ago and the land was sold to the Tzu Chi Foundation in 2002. It is slowly being redeveloped into a park, but there was a time when urban explorers would document the ruins inside the sprawling factory grounds. Not much remains of the original facilities as of 2024.
