Completed in 1962, this theater was initially known as Huanghou Theater (皇后電影院), but was quickly renamed Zhongxing Theater (中興電影院). It went out of business in 1986 and was idle for a period of time. In 1996 it was renovated, subdivided into four halls, and reopened as Zhongxing Cineplex (中興電影城). It was the last old-fashioned cinema in Penghu and continued screening films until 2019. Demolished as part of an urban renewal project in 2022.
