Formerly the site of Penghu Martial Arts Hall (澎湖武德殿), it was converted into a cinema and opened to the public in 1951. Additional renovations took place around 1955, boosting capacity to at least 1000. It went out of business at the end of 1987 and was later converted into an arcade.
