Completed in 1966, this is a large hall for military ceremonies and performances. It was also a commercial movie theater open to the public for many years, although that function ceased in the 1980s. Previously it was known as Magong Zhongzheng Hall (馬公中正堂) and Penghu Defense Forces Zhongzheng Hall (澎防部中正堂).
