The earliest private cinema in Penghu, established in 1921 as Magong Club (馬公俱樂部). In the post-war era it underwent a series of name changes including Magong Zhongshan Hall (馬公中山堂), Nanrong Theater (南榮戲院), and finally Magong Cinema (馬公電影院). It was demolished around 1971 and converted into commercial buildings.
