A sandstone tablet carved with the single character for tiger (虎) in the upper reaches of the Caoling Trail in Gongliao. It was inscribed by Qing dynasty era commander Liu Mingdeng (劉明燈) in 1867 to subdue the violent winds funnelling between the Pacific coast and the Lanyang Plain.
