A famous temple at the southern terminus of the historic Caoling Trail (草嶺古道). Officially known as Caoling Qingyun Temple (草嶺慶雲宮), it venerates Yuhuang Dadi (玉皇大帝), the Jade Emperor, and has long been a point of pilgrimage and worship for those walking the overland route into northern Yilan. Next to the temple is the Dali Stone Stela Forest (宜蘭大里天公廟碑林), which contains numerous monuments related to the administration of the trail in the Qing dynasty era. Several Japanese colonial era artifacts preserved on site also suggest that there may have once been a Shinto shrine in the area, although the details remain obscure.
