A simple water purification facility in the Shiguixi (石龜溪) settlement of southern Dounan, established in 1923 as part of Dounan Waterworks (斗南上水道). The station drew on abundant groundwater from the nearby Dahukou and Shigui creeks to supply clean drinking water to the surrounding villages, which at the time sat on a busy route into the mountains. It was later superseded by a direct supply and is no longer in active use.
