A modern animal spirit monument standing at the southwestern corner of the Da’an Meat Market (大安肉品市場) in Da’an. Its date of construction is unknown but appears quite recent, continuing a tradition that began in the Japanese colonial era. Each year offerings are laid before the monument during Ghost Month and a priest is invited to perform the rites of Zhongyuan Pudu (中元普渡).
