A single-storey Osaka-style brick-and-timber tobacco barn in Luliao Village (鹿寮里), on the outskirts of Chiayi City. The precise date of construction is unknown but it plausibly dates back to the late Japanese colonial era. The barn was modernized with computerized curing controls in its later years but was ultimately abandoned after the tobacco industry in Taiwan was phased out.
