A small monument to the animals who perished at the former Beitou Slaughterhouse, which was formerly located on the site of what is now Dafeng Park (大豐公園). The monument was commissioned in 1940. It was discarded when the slaughterhouse was demolished in the 1980s and only later rescued and reinstalled in its original location.
