Beigang Shinto Shrine (北港神社) - Spectral Codex

The former county-level (縣社) shrine for Yunlin was established in November 1934 as Hokkō-jinja. Most of the shrine was dismantled in the post-war era but several relics remain: a torii on Wenhua Road (文化路); a chōzuya (手水舍), or hand-washing pavilion; and either staff quarters for workers at the shrine (神職人員宿舍屋) or a shrine office and hall (社務所暨齋館) hidden behind a senior citizens’ activity center. It is located in Beigang, Yunlin.
