A former monkey-themed amusement park in the mountains of Hsinchu County established by Yang Qingpo (楊清波) in 1985. The first three characters of the name are zhuyin, a phonetic alphabet often called bopomofo, but with the last sound replaced by that of “monkey”. It was a popular destination for families in the late 1980s and early 1990s but fell on hard times like most other amusement parks in Taiwan’s oversaturated market. Typhoon Nari struck the park in 2001 and it was soon closed and abandoned. The site has since been cleared and used for illegal waste dumping.
