Completed in 1978, this was the third amusement park opened by philanthropist Huang Qiumao (黃秋茂), a native of Tainan. Ownership was transferred to the city in the 1980s and subcontracted out to a separate management company that ran it into the ground. Nowadays almost nothing remains of the original attractions apart from a clock tower at the north end of the island.
