A former Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) airfield at the foot of Dagangshan. It was designated Kamka Airdome by US intelligence, likely from the Taiwanese pronunciation of kham-kha (崁腳), “base of the ridge”. Aerial reconnaissance from 1944–1945 revealed a runway with a partially concrete surface and 21 open aircraft revetments around the perimeter. The site is now an ROC military installation and the runway outline is barely discernible, though it is possible some of the original revetments survive.
