A historic Western-style mansion located down a laneway in an old part of Xizhi. Pan became wealthy in the mining industry in nearby Pingxi and was instrumental in developing the Pingxi Railway Line (平溪線). The mansion was later sold and renamed Caiding Hall (蔡丁公堂). Despite its obvious historic value this old mansion was demolished in the early 2010s to make way for a condominium development.
