Originally established as Guangrong Theater (光榮戲院) around 1983, it was renamed in 1995 and went out of business in 2000. The ground floor is now rented out by a kindergarten and two of the original characters can still be seen on the second floor. This might have been built on the site of the former Xizhi Theater.
