A waterfall where Wulai River (烏來溪) drops about 80 meters to meet the Nanshi River (南勢溪) in Wulai, New Taipei, making it the highest in northern Taiwan. Differential erosion left the side valley hanging above the main river, and two smaller tiers lie further upstream. The Wulai Scenic Train runs from the old street to its foot, where a cable car crosses in front of the falls to the Yun Hsien Resort above.
