Developed in 1919, when the mineral content of the spring was judged comparable to that of Arima Onsen (有馬温泉) in Japan, this hot springs resort still features a traditional inn originally named Tekisuikaku (滴翠閣) that dates back to the Japanese colonial era. It is also known as the outer spring (外溫泉) in relation to nearby Hongye Hot Springs.
