Taichū East Airfield (臺中東飛行場) - Spectral Codex

One of many airbases built by the Japanese in the later part of World War 2, likely at the end of 1944. It was likely a simple runway with a handful of auxiliary buildings as it mainly served as an alternate to the much larger airbase in Shuinan, a little further west. It was rapidly dismantled after the war and all but vanished by 1959. The site was later converted into Pinglin Army Base (坪林營區) and National Chin-Yi University of Technology (國立勤益科技大學). Also known as Sanbian Airfield (三汴機場) in some sources.
