A former wooden railway station on the Zhongnan Line (中南線) of the sugar railway network connecting Taichung to Nantou. The line was established in 1918 and operated until 1961, when passenger service was abolished. The station was so heavily damaged by Typhoon Soudelor (蘇迪勒颱風) in August 2015 that it was completely demolished soon thereafter.
