Tainan Shinmachi Inari Shinto Shrine (新町稻荷社) - Spectral Codex

A small Inari shrine established in March 1923 within Shinmachi-yukaku (新町遊廓), the official red list district. It has a relationship with the famous Anamori Inari Shrine (供奉穴守神社) in Tokyo. Inari shrines are typically associated with commerce and prosperity but also frequented by those working in the sex industry. The shrine was located along what is now Bao’an Road (保安路). Presumably no relics remain.
