Taichung Hezuo Theater (台中合作戲院) - Spectral Codex

An early post-war theater established on Chenggong Road (成功路) in 1951. It was mainly known for glove puppetry (布袋戲) shows. It closed in 1958 and was later converted into Serenade Dance Hall (小夜曲舞廳). The site is now occupied by a Michelin-starred Taiwanese restaurant (范記金之園草袋飯). It isn’t clear whether this is the original structure, but there’s a chance it might be!
